Naaah. The OG 4th gen Supra was fat too, but that’s all it and the RC have in common. Even though the parts came from somewhere not at all near Japan, the spirit of the straight six turbocharged sporty coupe is with the GR.

I also suspect the GR could walk an RCF on the track. It’s a fine luxury muscle cruiser, but a track beast it is not.
